Shegun Olusanya's personal profile

Shegun Olusanya CTM has a passion for public speaking. His main passion is to help others conquer the fear of public speaking. He had his first experience competing in a debate in his secondary school days. To hone his literary skills he completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and literary studies. He was a student of the 1986 Noble laureate in Literature – Wole Soyinka. He developed his advocacy, negotiation & persuasive skills at the Nottingham Law School.Segun draws inspiration from his African heritage, his experiences in life and his many ‘escapades’.

He is a qualified Lawyer and IT Consultant. He has worked in organisations like the Home Office, Deutsche Bank, British Telecom, Hewlett Packard, London Stock Exchange and EMC. He has travelled extensively within the UK, US, Europe and West Africa.

Today Segun is the Operations Director of Cedar Events Organisers Ltd and CEO of ITMEETSLAW Ltd. He is also Vice President, Public Relations of the Croydon Communicators Toastmasters and was privileged to be Toastmaster at the inaugural meeting.

Segun has spoken at the House of Commons, Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Room, Wembley Conference Centre and various high profile Corporate and Private events. His knowledge of correct procedure and attention to detail allows the client to relax in the knowledge that their special occasion is in capable and friendly hands.
